We are recommending this module to clients who already use and pay for Siteimprove. We want to tell them exactly what information we need from them. Probably it is somewhat common that a technical person without access to a Siteimprove account and a separate person with access need to coordinate on setup.
I'm guessing all that needs to be documented is what happens after you press press the Request new token button described in the documentation at https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/siteimprove/installation... β
