Tables in API content should take the full page width

Created on 5 August 2025, about 1 month ago

On api.drupal.org pages like EntityFieldManager the nav block in the upper right of the content area occupies that whole column. The table of properties and methods ends up only having half of the page for its visible display, you have to scroll horizontally to see the values.

It would be nice if there'd be a way to give that content the full width of the content area. Maybe as an exception for tables like this, if nothing else.

I think previously we might have had something in the theme that broke this table out of its column. That would have it overlap the right column, but we assume the right column is shorter for the listing pages. My memory might not be accurate, and there might be better ways though.

If we do go with the theme change, we do need to get the site updated to the 2.x branch of bluecheese, and this could be the time, so we can abandon the 1.x branch.

For now moving it to Bluecheese 1.x

I will try to get 2.x on the api site to see how it looks.
