The exposed pager options breaks AJAX

Problem/Motivation

When the exposed pager is selected, navigating through the pager results in an Ajax failure, causing the page to refresh and appending the query to the URL.

Steps to reproduce

Implement a view with AJAX, incorporating a pager and exposed pager settings.
Select the pager options, such as specifying the items per page.
Navigate through the pager.

Tried to reproduce this on D11 install

Steps done:
* Switched the content view to use Ajax
* Exposed all pager settings
* Went to admin/content
* Changed some pager settings
* Used the pager
* View still uses Ajax

Am I missing a step? Can you reproduce this on a clean Drupal install?
