Patch PHP 8.4 deprecations

Problem/Motivation

PHP language deprecations are generating warnings when this module is enabled on a system with PHP 8.4

Steps to reproduce

Run this module on a server using PHP 8.4 and monitor the logs

Proposed resolution

Patch to address "Implicitly marking parameter as nullable is deprecated, the explicit nullable type must be used instead"

Patch included for those who prefer... I will start a merge request as well.
