There is a feature request patch ✨ Override a non-indexed bundle on a per-entity basis Needs work in Simple Sitemap that allows an entity to be added to a sitemap even if the sitemap settings for the entity bundle is configured as Do not index. An example scenario is for a news landing page to be included in the same sitemap as news articles.
The same feature should be added to Domain Simple Sitemap.
