Missing "Styles"/appearance (Background, Spacing...) of blocks

Created on 7 July 2025, 14 days ago

Problem/Motivation

I cannot find an option to customize the "Styles"/appearance (Background, Spacing...) of blocks in version 2.2.5. Sections have this option, but blocks do not. Is this feature no longer available (it was present in previous versions)? If it still exists, where can I find it? Do I need to activate, configure or install something for this feature?

Steps to reproduce

  • not all blocks do not have styling configuration.
For some components like buttons, you have styling options like primary, secondary or another. but the styling option is very limited.
you should style the blocks / component using the theme's CSS.

In prior versions of Provus most (if not all) blocks had at least the options to change the background color of the block and the spacing (margin and padding) in the block config without changing CSS.

This allowed editors without technical knowledge to design these elements themselves if required.

This was a key feature for us and our customers and the main reason why we chose Provus.

Are there plans to reintroduce these functions for the current version in the near future?
