    The SAML Auth module supports something similar to that hook by dispatching a SamlauthEvents::USER_SYNC event, but converting hook code to an event subscriber is outside of the scope of what this module could do.

    Maybe in the future, though? Or, if someone wants to work on it and create an MR?

    Other than that, were you able to use this to create working configuration for SAML Auth?
