Problem/Motivation

Can't update book from 1 to 2.0.2

Steps to reproduce

composer require 'drupal/book:^2.0'
The result is :
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

Problem 1
- Root composer.json requires drupal/book ^2.0, found drupal/book[2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.0.2] but these were not loaded, likely because it conflicts with another require.
Problem 2
- drupal/custom_book_block is locked to version 1.1.0 and an update of this package was not requested.
- drupal/custom_book_block 1.1.0 requires drupal/book ^1.0 -> found drupal/book[1.0.0] but it conflicts with your root composer.json require (^2.0).

This isn’t a bug in Drupal. You have to upgrade https://www.drupal.org/project/custom_book_block → too.

This might be a little confusing because the book module went from Drupal core to the contribution space. Additionally, a major update was introduced to the new contrib book module at the same time. Your composer output shows the correct version conflict. When updating to the ^2.0 version of the book module, you also need to update to the ^2.0 version of the custom book block module.
