Images inserted via CKEditor break layout and affect homepage column alignment

Created on 25 June 2025, 4 months ago

Images inserted via CKEditor are not properly constrained by the layout. When a large image is added (e.g., in a Basic page), it overflows beyond the content area.

Additionally, when such a page is set as a teaser on the homepage (in the Latest News block), the image affects the layout – the right column becomes too wide, causing it to drop to a new row and breaking the overall grid structure.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to /node/add/page.
2. In the Content field, insert a large image using the available CKEditor plugins.
3. Save the content.
4. View the node page – the image exceeds the content area and breaks the layout.
5. Go to the homepage – the layout of the news section is broken; the right column drops to a new row.
