Problem/Motivation

I'd like to become a maintainer of this module and help push it forward a bit to become a bit more useful. I've created the following issues that I can work on:

✨ Support creating a revision and setting revision log message Active
✨ Support additional actions: Replace, append, remove, or clear Active
📌 Modernize codebase & add tests Active

I'm a solutions architect with many years of experience building and maintaining Drupal modules. I help build and maintain a website building platform based on Drupal for a university and we want to offer functionality this module provides, but need a few more features listed above.
