I'm wondering if there's anything holding us back making the 2.x version of this module compatible with Drupal 11.
There's https://www.drupal.org/project/ckeditor_lts → for example, which allows the LTS version of CKEditor 4 to be used on Drupal 11.
If the necessary changes are minor, perhaps it's worth considering?
