More control over Iframe blocking cookie category

Created on 17 June 2025, 10 days ago

Now there's an option to select one cookie category for all iframes. In some cases there might be iframes that set functional cookies and some iframes that set marketing cookies.
It would be a shame to have to block all iframes if one does not accept marketing cookies, just because there is one video embed on the site for example.

Would it be possible to have an UI for exceptions/overrides for the default "Iframe blocking category" setting based on iframe src domain?

    Thanks @aelfendir!
Yeah, I can see use cases for such a feature. I think this is a good idea.
At first, the UI could be something simple for example a text area where the key/value pairs are separated by a pipe | or something similar. This is a quite common way to add settings in Drupal.

    For example:
    *youtube*|marketing

If it wouldn't validate it could fallback to the default value selected above the text area.
