Unable to upload images using Core media module

Problem/Motivation

After upgrading the module to 2.0.8, the file upload using the default Drupal core media is not working

Steps to reproduce

Install google_tag module and enable the Drupal core media module.
got to content -> media -> Add media ->Image
Try to upload an image.

Proposed resolution

Looks like a JS issue that prevents uploading the file.
