OK, so there are 2 related issues containing altogether 3 merge requests😃. Please can you cut it down to 1 issue and 1 MR?
I just made a stable 1.6 release. Is this a regression compared with 1.5? If yes, then I agree we need to fix it.
If no, then I'm not really convinced it needs fixing - I'm better spending my time on 2.x. Couldn't you alter your code so that you call setTransportDsn later than DefaultsEmailAdjuster - which after all runs very early?
