Would appreciate an update on the development status of this module. It seems all activity halted about 8 months ago.
I still find this module very useful in scenarios when you just need to support the Azure AI Search without any bells and whistles.
In any case, I started fixing some bugs and adding new features, such as vector data type. Maintainers, please let me know if you would be interested in MRs or patches.

We're still maintaining this module, albeit activity depends a bit on our available time.
A new release from the current alpha is planned very soon. Some other bugfixes will be added as well.
We're always happy to receive patches. If you provide some we can have a look and merge them if possible.
