How to limit maximum of 1 group role per user

Problem/Motivation

Hello! Is there any way that I can restrict group members to have maximum of only 1 group role? Currently, the user interface allows assigning multiple group roles to a user. I would like to restrict it to only 1 group role. Thank you for any help/suggestion.
