Deleting content using Trash causes issues

Problem/Motivation

When deleting content with the "Trash" module enabled causes the following issue.

TypeError: Drupal\content_sync\Exporter\ContentExporter::exportEntity(): Argument #1 ($entity) must be of type Drupal\Core\Entity\ContentEntityInterface, null given, called in /var/www/html/docroot/modules/contrib/content_sync/content_sync.module on line 221 in Drupal\content_sync\Exporter\ContentExporter->exportEntity() (line 28 of modules/contrib/content_sync/src/Exporter/ContentExporter.php).
