How needed is this project now that OOP hooks are in core

Problem/Motivation

This project, that was once an awesome and forward focused necessary, seems to duplicate core functionality. Does it still make sense to start a project using Hook Event Dispatcher now that Core supports OOP Hooks with https://www.drupal.org/node/3442349 → ?
