Problem/Motivation

Some function calls need to trigger async processes, which kanban will need to pick up again upon completion. Minikanban agents should hold the framework for this, with specific backends implemented as plugins.

Proposed resolution

Add an async job manager & plugin type that allows a task to be moved into blocked, a job tracked against it, polling for an update on the status, and resuming the task upon completion of all background tasks.

User interface changes

New view to be added to the task.

API changes

New additions.

Data model changes

New schema table.
