This module is quite interesting, but it seems a bit abandoned. No judgement, as a module maintainer myself I know sometimes we have other priorities and don't have the time to take care of a project, which is totally fine.
I'd like to offer some help with it, and volunteering myself to be a maintainer for this module. I've recently created a PR for the issue 🐛 Getting Notice: Undefined index: hide_layout_builder_field Active , and I believe I can help with at least keeping this module usable and up-to-date with newer Drupal core versions (as reported in 📌 Automated Drupal 11 compatibility fixes for fvm Needs review ).
