Switch not working for paths in Modals

Problem/Motivation

I am trying to apply the Gin theme to certain paths which are being presented in Modal pop-ups.

My Theme Switcher configuration is as below

But when I launch the modal by clicking the URL link I get...

I want these modal pop-ups to be presented in the Gin theme.

Can anyone please advise as to whether my expectations are wrong?
