views_ui error when trying to save leaflet data source

Problem/Motivation

I'm trying to configure a map-based view using the leaflet map format. When I select the "data source: content map", I get a views_ui error and the data source selection doesn't save.

"Error: Call to a member function get() on null in Drupal\views_ui\Form\Ajax\Display->validateForm() (line 98 of /var/www/html/web/core/modules/views_ui/src/Form/Ajax/Display.php)."

I did have success getting a different view with similar settings running on a Digital Ocean droplet, this one is on my local DDEV.

Any suggestions for what I'm doing wrong/how to provide more detailed information would be appreciated.

    Hi @mwynne ... don't really get what's happening on your side.
    Make sure to set in "fields" the "Show" format of your Leaflet View style,
    and select a for the "data source" option ...

    All should be fine with that.

    with latest 10.3.x releases all this should be gone.
    Please reopen and update this with detailed context / info if you still experience this with latest 10.3.7 release
