array_merge() must be of type array error

Problem/Motivation

Using Drupal 10.4.5, soon to be 10.4.6 with the dev. version of this module. I installed the dev. version because of another related issue with this error message. I get the error when I save anything in the Block Layout UI. For example, if I were to add a webform block, then Save the page, I get the error every time.

The website encountered an unexpected error. Try again later.

TypeError: array_merge(): Argument #1 must be of type array, string given in array_merge() (line 202 of modules/contrib/block_class/src/Service/BlockClassHelperService.php).

Steps to reproduce

Using Drupal 10.4.5, install this module. Go to Block Layout under Structure. Add any webform as a block to any region. Save the block, then save the Block Layout page.

You're right

Maybe has two ways to found the same error
However, since is the same error and in the same line, when is fixed in one place will be automatically fixed in the other one

Btw, if helps, there is a patch at 🐛 Adding CSS Classes to Block Crashes Site. Active that can be useful until is merged
