Ability to scan other sites.

I am wondering if creating the ability to scan other sites would be feasible?

What should work:

Authenticated user has to prove that they do own the site/app through a code snippet/key or add a TXT record with key to their DNS record. The system would scan for either one of those options. Which ever the user chose to use.

Then, it could be run every 24 hours to check the status of the site/app. Send reports to the user via email and show detailed information with recommendations on a dashboard.

I know it can be done, is this in the roadmap for this project?
