Predefined SDC (Structured Data Components) that can be used in an Elementor and Gutenberg Editor-type interface. This feature is important for improving the ease of content creation and enhancing the user experience for non-technical users who want to build complex, data-driven pages without needing to write custom code.
**Steps to Reproduce**:
1. Navigate to the Drupal Experience Builder interface.
2. Attempt to use a page builder similar to Elementor or Gutenberg.
3. Notice that predefined SDC components, such as pre-configured elements for structured data, are missing from the available components or widgets in the builder.
4. Try to build a data-rich page, such as a product page or an article that requires structured data integration, and encounter difficulties in manually adding or configuring the structured data components.
**Expected Behavior**:
The Drupal Experience Builder should offer an interface similar to Elementor or Gutenberg, where users can easily drag and drop predefined SDC components into the page layout. These components would come pre-configured with essential fields for structured data markup, making it easier to create pages with integrated structured data without the need for extensive technical knowledge.
**Actual Behavior**:
At present, users do not have access to predefined SDC components in the Experience Builder interface, making it cumbersome to integrate structured data into pages. This leads to more time-consuming, manual coding and increases the risk of user errors.
**Impact**:
1. Content creators and website administrators who are not familiar with coding or structured data will face difficulties in implementing SEO-friendly, data-rich pages.
2. The overall workflow of building complex pages is less intuitive and more reliant on manual coding, which can slow down development and launch times.
3. SEO performance could be negatively impacted due to inconsistent or incorrect structured data integration.
**Proposed Solution**:
1. Introduce a library of predefined SDC components within the Drupal Experience Builder.
2. Ensure these components are available in a drag-and-drop format, similar to Elementor and Gutenberg, for ease of use.
3. Allow customization of these components through the interface, enabling users to input the correct values while maintaining structured data markup integrity.
4. Provide documentation and tooltips to guide users on how to use and configure these SDC components effectively.
**Additional Information**:
- The absence of these predefined components creates a barrier to using Drupal for non-technical content creators.
- Implementing this would significantly improve the usability of the Experience Builder and reduce the reliance on external tools or developers for structured data integration.
