Last tab accessed and saved becomes the default tab

Problem/Motivation

I have noticed that when editing content under a tab, that it becomes the 1st or 'default' tab, if I save my work, that tab then becomes the selected, default tab.

Proposed resolution

My feeling is that the normal left-most tab is typically the starter tab or default tab in left-to-right reading cultures.
Also, the default tab should not change on updating subsequent tabs, this is not feature or an expectation, or is not explained.
