FullCalendar doesn't work when date field is within a Paragraph?

Problem/Motivation

This is I guess a sibling issue with this other issue on Smart Date I opened back in December: https://www.drupal.org/project/smart_date/issues/3491121 πŸ› Bug when using Smart Date recurring field within Paragraphs? Active

I've created an Event content type, and on that content type I have a paragraph field called Schedule. It references a paragraph type called Event Session, and on that paragraph type is a Smart Date field called Date. It has recurring enabled.

I can't seem to get it to work with FullCalendar. It doesn't work with the other module, FullCalendar View, either.

I was able to do this same functionality in Drupal 7 using the Field Collection module and the original Calendar module and the Core date field. It worked fantastically, but I can't seem to make it work in Drupal 10 with FullCalendar, Smart Date, and Paragraphs.

Has anyone done something similar and found success?

Basically, on the Event node, I should be able to add an event session with a date (and location once I add that field), however many I like within the same node, and each paragraph instance should display separately on the FullCalendar. As I mentioned above, this works wonderfully in Drupal 7 and makes it to where the user doesn't have to duplicate the same event over and over again.
