Undocumented UI Methods

Problem/Motivation

When reviewing the UI code, I'm finding the majority of methods do not have docblocks. Is this a standard in Javascript application development I'm not aware of or do you consider these methods to be self-documenting?

It would be great if they were updated to match equivalent documentation standards as Drupal's php methods. It likely wouldn't take a huge effort. I do understand there's A LOT of ui code here but the effort would be appreciated and useful for folks trying to understand how to improve upon the UI.
