Using tokens in View rewriting

Problem/Motivation

We are trying to use tokens in View re-writes and we understand that we need this module to be active in order to do that.

Specifically, we want to pick up the query string from the current page re-shape it a bit, and stick it in a block.

Seems like it should be a really simple thing to do given that we allegedly have the core [current-page:query:?] available.

We understand from what we have have read that we ought to be able to insert something like..

{{ [current-page:query:search_api_fulltext] }}

However, nothing seems to work, with or without this module?

Can anyone please advise?

    Hi @sirclickalot,

    This module is for enabling tokens in filtered text fields. It does not have any effect on views rewriting, they do not use the filters you find at /admin/config/content/formats.

    I had a quick look and didn't see any modules which do affect that part of views but there are plenty which are more adjacent than this one.

    I'm sorry, you'll need to find something more specific to your needs, or perhaps even write it.
