Submenu configuration custom css class assignment malfunctioning

Steps to reproduce

When selecting a submenu in the submenu configuration and assigning a css class, the css class is assigned to all submenus. Whatever class is written for the first submenu is applied to all submenus. Additionally, all submenus are appearing all the way to the left of the menu and not directly underneath the menu item.

Proposed resolution

Check the save function and see if it is assigning one class to all submenus.

Remaining tasks

Make sure the submenu items are appearing directly underneath the menu item after saving and viewing on website.
