Do not add metadata to .info.yml

Problem/Motivation

When we require a project via composer, metadata is added to .info.yml, which makes it impossible to patch.

Steps to reproduce

Make a patch to edit a project's .info.yml file then require that project via composer

Proposed resolution

Do not add metadata to .info.yml file.
