Credential is not valid

Problem/Motivation

I have a writable and readable private storage set up, I have even installed a separate tool in Laravel to check to see if the property and credentials.json I received would have any more detailed errors there, but in the Laravel tool it worked.

Steps to reproduce

I have followed all of the instructions, including the additional details here: https://www.drupal.org/project/google_analytics_reports/issues/3261535 🐛 Following the README: json key is missing the type field. Active where they recommend adding first the property and then the credentials, but each time I get the following error: There was an authentication error. Message: Could not construct ApplicationDefaultCredentials. and underneath the field I get: Credential is not valid. Check your configured property also!

I would be grateful for any assistance.
