Updates failing from 3.0.9 to 3.2.7

Problem/Motivation

I'm trying to update a site that is currently using opigno_lms 3.0.9 to the latest version of 3.2.7 by following https://opigno.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OUM3/pages/3438116866/Upgrade+to+3.2.x+release+Drupal+10

First I tried to update it from 3.0.9 to 3.1.3, but the only version found is 3.1.0. which has group module locked to 1.2.0.
I've tried resolving that by using aliases: loading version 1.5 as 1.2, but that doesn't resolve our issues as well as it then causes opigno_lms_update_9016 to fail.
