The original purpose of the autosave module was to have an autosave solution for very long forms. The main goal of webform cards is to speed up the user experience when filling a form using client-side validation between pages, not server-side validation. Autosaving will trigger the server-side validation and could potentially cause issues.
I am unable to create a patch for cards myself. However, I would be happy to review it if someone else decides to write one.

Should I understand that Webform Autosave does not currently support webform cards?
Maybe it's just something @jrockowitz is hoping for?
I have a 60+ page webform with cards and some of the pages have questions that should be saved. But the user constantly has to manually save a draft.
