Terms get deleted on target site

Created on 3 February 2025, 2 months ago

I have a content type in 3 languages and 3 channels. Entity share works for most fields, but not for some term references.

We sync a few taxonomy reference fields, but these result in deleting the values on the target database, instead of updating them. For instance a field_category is on both sites the same (say 'apples', 'pears'). When the source changes (body is changed on the node) the nodes are synched. The new body is updated on the target, which is correct. But it also deletes all terms on the target, resulting in no categories on the target, whereas the categories remain selected on the source.

Sorry, it seems I forgot to enable the terms for the json api (through json api extras). I thought just sharing the tid would not require the terms itself to be available (tids always match on both sides), but it did.

This issue can be set to resolved.
