Accepted files for upload ignored with 3.1.1, fine with 3.1.0

Problem/Motivation

The accepted file types are ignored. Can't allow e g zip uploads.
Had to revert to 3.1.0 to get it working again.

Steps to reproduce

Change the accepted file types on the file browser node to include the zip extension.
Try to upload a zip file.
It gets rejected with a message that lists completely different file types, much fewer.
