Slide number limit

Created on 17 January 2025, 7 days ago

I wanted to try this module as a replacement for the View Slideshow module, which I can't get to work with Drupal 11.
However, I read that it is advisable not to insert more than 10 slides, while I have almost 100.
Can I try to use it anyway?

Thanks and best regards

    Hello,

Thank you for your question about the note on the module's home page. This note is not specific to this module but is intended as general guidance for Drupal as a whole. Feel free to use it.

In Drupal, for optimal performance and user experience, it is generally recommended to limit the number of items to 10. This keeps the page responsive and accessible, especially when working with images that require more resources to load. Additionally, enabling pagination is a best practice to ensure smoother navigation and maintain accessibility, while also preventing potential performance bottlenecks.

    Best wishes,
    Alaa

I inserted the slideshow into the site, it came out well: https://prova.gmpe.it/euganei/fauna-euganea.
It is inconvenient to have to insert the number of pages in the view.

    Best regards
