The settings schema has most settings properly stored as boolean properties, but the default config and settings form store them as 1 or 0. This causes schema validation errors, which we have to suppress in our automated tests. The default config and settings form need to be corrected. An update function must be written to repair any incorrect config.

The form elements don't need to be updated at this time. The config system automatically converts any integer values to the correct schema type. So those changes can wait until the form is overhauled.
