In the 3.* version of the module the admin menu link was moved from Config > System to the top level and local task links were added for Prepublish check and Recheck.
Some sites, like ours, have a large number of custom menu items in the admin menu and would like the link to remain in the old location. Our developers have modified this for our use case with menu_links_discovered_alter() and menu_local_tasks_alter(), which is easy enough, but I wanted to ask if this could be part of config.
Would it be possible to add configuration to choose the admin link location and whether to display local task links or not?
