Base field not shown in Entity Type module

Created on 9 January 2025, 3 months ago

Problem/Motivation

I always used this module several months back. But now at Drupal 10.4.1 fresh install, I use this module to create a new ENTITY, with minimal options, it works. But not completely as per configured. at least, a base field, is not appear in add form, and it is no option to add fields even though it was set to be FIELDABLE.

Steps to reproduce

(recommended to reproduce on fresh drupal install). After set the /module/custom dir, then proceed to the module builder (installed). Run Analyze code if required to proceed.
1. Add Module - give name, and any other simple info
2. Go to tab ENTITY TYPES, create a new entity.
3. at Entity functionality, tick FIELDABLE
4. at BASE FIELDS, add a base field etc 'description', choose TEXT FORMATTED (other field type also can)
5. Go to GENERATE module and finish it.
6. Install the module
7. See at admin module, under content, the entity appear in the tabs. Click
8. Add first content of that entity, (there is only 1 field available -- TITLE), no other base fields in the add form.
9. I tried to find in structure, this ENTITY is not shown, and therefore not able to add additional fields.
