When using Registration Availability filter for views, neither option produces any results.
Create at least one event series with registration enabled. For one event instance in the series, register the maximum amount of registrants.
Set up a view with the Registration Availability filter set publicly exposed.
When viewing the view, if you set the filter to either option, no results appear.
Tested in SimplyTestMe environment as well.
Fix this filter so expected results appear.
