This module does not contain any condition plugins. What you described is exactly how that plugin is expected to work anyways.
In asset injection using a restriction by page URL is not applied to a page preview.
Create a page
Create an asset injection restricted to that page's URL
Edit the page and click on 'Preview'
Notice that the styles or js in the asset injection are not applied.
Add code to recognise that the URL for the preview is the same node as the URL restriction.
