Tokens or support for variables in twig templates?

Hello,
I found some older issues where there were requests for tokens to be used with SmartIP or the support to use information about the identified user's location via a twig template.
These issues were not answered I believe so I would like to raise the question again.
Being able to print the user's location (Country) on a page, block or in an article would be a very practicle thing to do.
If we would have a token for that, that could work.
When the variables would be available in a Twig module it wouls also be possible to build some logic around a visitor's location.
Hope to hear if this is planned in the future.
