How to completely uninstall PWA Module

Problem/Motivation

We have recently updated the site from 9.5 to 10.30 and have been trying to remove PWA module 2.0.0-rc2 but the service worker remains active even when module has been uninstalled.

We've tried both removing methods using Drush and through the /admin/modules/uninstall module selection.

Once PWA module is removed we will begin to see page not found errors from www.ourwebsite.com/serviceworker-pwa

Is there a timer requirement for cache to elapse? Or are we missing some steps to perform a complete removal?
