Cannot specify field format of "Image with Caption" in D 10.3

Problem/Motivation

Cannot use the module.

Steps to reproduce

Drupal 10.3 MySQL 8.04 Install module as normal from .zip file and enable.
Create image field but, selecting Media as a field type, no format field is displayed. Hence no caption text area appears when creating an image field.

Proposed resolution

How can I specify field format in Drupal 10.3?
