I was able to solve this by emptying the Role ARN field on the Amazon Web Services Module. I hope this helps anyone else experiencing an issue with setup
I am unable to use AWS bedrock, and I am hoping someone may be able to offer me a little guidance.
I am only using the Amazon Web Services module for this connection. I may have the setup wrong for the Amazon Web Services module, but I have no way to tell. I have provided the correct details to the aws module such as the secret key, etc.
When I try to use Bedrock as the provider in AI explorer, no provider configuration appears and I am unable to generate text or images. It appears I do not have a connection.
In my AWS account:
- I have access to multiple image and text models and I have tested them in the console.
- I create a role with unrestricted administrative access for testing and used that in the role ARN field in the AWS module
- I created a user with unrestricted access, and generated an access key and secret access key for that user. I am using that key in the aws module
- I am using the short identifier for the region (us-xxx-1)
- I used "bedrock" for the session name
The AWS module does not have a lot of clear instructions for setup, but I think I got this all correct.
I would appreciate any help setting this up!
