Decide what to do with 1.2.x branch

Problem/Motivation

There is a 1.2.x branch. It has a few commits too it, mostly to support multiple cron tabs per cron job (beyond that coding standards). Its hard to know why that was abandoned by the original maintainer, but maybe it was for a reason?
