Prevent main menu from jumping down instead of wrapping

Problem/Motivation

When the main navigation menu has too many components, instead of wrapping it simply drops below the logo, and then it will wrap

Steps to reproduce

Add enough items so the menu is a single line, next to the logo, at wide screen. then decrease the screen width. as soon as there is not enough space for all the items the whole menu drops down below the logo.

Proposed resolution

Allow the menu to wrap rather than making it jump down first
