Updating paragraph fields is problematic

Problem/Motivation

When paragraphs are updated by this module there are (at least) 2 issues.

  • Fields with multiple cardinality paragraphs are not updated properly
  • Masses of additional paragraph revisions are created.

Steps to reproduce

Create a content type with a paragraph field which has a paragraph type that allows text to be added. Add several paragraphs with links in to a piece content. Try to remove the links... it is broken.

Proposed resolution

Handle multi-cardinality paragraph fields and ensure unnecessary paragraph revisions are not created.
