Distracting background image

Perhaps tone down the diagonal lines to make them less competing with the content. The overall design is a little inconsistent ... mixed faded colour blocks (bottom right block) with a material design type overall approach . I find the background diagonal lines too present and distracting .
Proposition : fade down a little diagonal lines .
